Horse Thief The Saddle Club is taking part in a big Pony Club rally at Pine Hollow Stables. Riders from all the local Pony Clubs are taking part, including Stevies boyfriend, Phil Marsten. For once Stevie and Phil arent being too competitive, so everyone is having a good time until a thief spoils the fun by stealing $500 from the stable office. Veronica diAngelo says she saw Phil hanging around the office and acting suspiciously. And Phil did need the money. But hed never resort to theft, would he? Or is there a thief among the riders? Its up to The Saddle Club to find out and clear Phils name. Schooling Horse A new horse has arrived at Pine Hollow, and Lisa Atwood is convinced her parents are planning to buy it for her. Of course she volunteers to help school it. But training this horse is a lot more difficult than Lisa thought in fact, it could be dangerous. How can Lisa tell her parents that she doesnt want this horse? And will that mean shell never get a horse of her own? Meanwhile, Carole Hanson is having schooling problems of her own. Shes about to fail a course, and she doesnt know where to turn for help. Should she try to struggle through? Or just give up? Can The Saddle Club turn these two schooling disasters into happy endings?
